Our market leading range of print and apply machines is formed of two generic types of machine. Type 1 - ‘real time’ one–to-one machines (last label printed is the label applied) and type 2 - ‘batch’ machines (label is printed at the same time as a label is applied).
Real time machines allow the possibility of dynamic print and application – i.e. to match a unique label to a unique product, whilst batch machines are fast – at least twice as fast as the equivalent one-to-one machine, due to their ability to both ‘print’ and ‘apply’ simultaneously.
Realtime Print and Apply Machines
Compact & Economical Print & Apply
ALcode LT is a real time, one-to-one printer/applicator, developed specifically for low to medium speed applications requiring a simple low cost &/or ultra compact machine.
Industrial Print & Apply
ALcode is a highly robust, industrial one-to-one real time print and apply labelling system, for more challenging ‘on demand’ printing requirements.
Linerless Print & Apply
ALcode LL is a special ‘linerless’ (no backing paper) derivative of our ALcode machine. Printing and applying from a continuous label tape, this machine offers considerable environmental and cost saving possibilities in many applications.
Multi Pallet Face Print & Apply
ALcode P is another derivative of our ALcode machine, designed specifically for multi face, unattended pallet labelling, usually as part of automated palletising & wrapping line.
Economical Batch Print & Apply
ALstep T combines our compact and economical ‘workhorse’ ALstep label applicator, with a choice of industrial thermal transfer print engines.
My HP Laserjet adventure
I own a 5-year-old HP laserjet 1020 monochrome printer
that uses 12A black toner cartridges
yesterday, I was printing on Avery shipping labels
what I do is peel one label off the sheet and stick it in precise
position on another used sheet in the same spot where another label used to be
these are 4x2 labels: I do this using homemade label templates
I made using MS Word with its custom margins and insert shapes features
I do this because I don't print a sheet of labels wholesale,
